Suprise Announcement #1– I’m writing a THRILLER!!!
About FIFTEEN years ago, before I was writing to publish, I started to jot down notes for a story that was stuck in my head. I was deep in the throes of the story when, well, life got in the way. I stuck that notebook way down deep in the pile of a gazillion notebooks that I still have to this day, buried under old magazines and Star Wars comic books. Once I got into my groove (writing full romance books, but also satistying my need to write horror too,) I started to slowly revisit that story, and my brain took off running. Now I am half-way through writing it, and I have to pace myself, because the story is pouring out.
And it’s scary. And twisted.
Here’s a few sneak peeks:
- L’Escadron volant (???????)
- The story opens with a missing woman and a murder
- There’s a mysterious all-girls school
- I’m listening to the song “Prisoner” by Barbra Streisand over and over again
Ohhhhhhh, I want to say so much more but I am zipped up!
This book will be out next year under a WHOLE NEW PEN NAME (so don’t look for it under JM Blake.) and could possibly be a new series…
