I used to love Stuart Townsend.

Maybe because he was Irish and that accent used to send me to the mesosphere, maybe because I thought he was HOT, I don’t know. He was in a really crazy movie once, “The League of Extraordinary Gentleman” (based on a comic series), where he played Dorian Gray, and I became obsessed with the character all over again (I’d read in high school.) I’ve watched all kinds of depictions and always wanted to write a small homage of my own. This is that story. I found it a lot of fun to write Banshee’s story because she is NOT a victim, and she is NOT likable, but you can’t help but feel a little sorry for her. There is a lot of room for interpretation and some ambiguity, but the message remains the same: Be Careful What You Wish For.
