I need FALLLLLLL
Hello, Favorite Reader 😉
Did you know that I am an October baby? Fall is definitely my favorite season for many reasons (my wedding anniversary, Mr. Blake’s birthday), BUT October is where it’s at: cool(er) weather, pumpkin stuff, HALLOWEEN, SCARY MOVIES…YAYY!
Anyhow, my birthday has been a benchmark for my 2024 projects, which means I need to get my arse in gear! Let’s recap–
‘Most Beautiful’ is around the corner! I LOVE these characters. Malcolm makes me want to throttle him, but there is a puppy named Bernoulli who makes up for it. This is Book 1 of The Persuasion Park Series, with Book 2 coming next year.
Right behind it is a new entry in the Dreadful Stories Series called ‘Influencer,’ a wicked take on The Picture of Dorian Grey. It will be out on October 10th and exclusively to Kindle Unlimited.
My ‘Unnamed Thriller!’ I will release more information, including the title, on November 13th. This is still on track for Spring 2025.
‘Stande,’ Book 5 of The Possession Series, is coming December 3rd. This is Rowan and Gem’s story, and it’s funny as well as dangerous. You know that Gemma is like a heat-seeking missile where men are concerned, and poor Rowan doesn’t stand (get it?) a chance.

This time of year also means MLB playoffs, and as of this post, my beloved Atlanta Braves are out of contention with less than 10 games left. They still have a chance, but I’m preparing for my household to fall into a deep funk, especially since The Dodgers are in (who we hate) and…we live in Los Angeles. Our little baby niece and her parents are coming for the weekend, and Mr. Blake and I get to babysit her for a few hours. We are taking her to the beach and some other fun places, and I cannot wait to eat her up! I’ll post some pics next week.
The weather THE WEATHER! We had a few glorious days of 80 degrees or less; it was EVERYTHING. But of course, we are going to creep past 90 next week. My hoodies are going to boycott my closet soon 🙁 Damn you, California.
Mr. Blake went to Europe for work recently and brought me back the most amazing tea I have ever had. (Those of you who follow me know I went caffeine-free a few years ago. I still enjoy coffee, just decaf. Don’t make fun of me.) I could order more or I could take a trip to London myself. Hmmm.
Hey! Did you know that His To Belong To is being honored by the 2024 Page Turner Book Awards? It is a finalist for Best Romance and has been named to the 2024 Longlist! Yay!
Lastly, Luka is the most annoying cat in the world. I love him to the ends of his toe feathers, but he is always in trouble. He messes with all the cords behind the TV, opens drawers, and likes to wake you (me) up at three am for treats. He’s loud, talks a lot, and his fur is a nightmare. But do I ever love him. Our other two cats are angels, but of course, I chose to adopt the naughty one. Sigh.
