Simone Barousse hates her job. She thought being offered an executive position with AmataUnlimited was a dream come true– until it wasn’t. Sure, she has a ton of power and makes sweet money, but the CEO is a complete mother you-know-what, and if she weren’t under contract, she would tell him and his weird family to shove it where the moon don’t shine. She’s sick of the way they look at her, the way they talk to her, and she’s especially sick of HIM.

Marroan Amata can’t stand Simone Barousse. Yeah, she makes his company heaps of cash and single-handedly has put them at the top of their industry, but putting up with her crappy attitude, and overall, well, nastiness, is more than he can smell…ummm, take.

Their collision course of loathing comes crashing together one night, when a group of masked men attack Marroan at a company retreat, and Simone reluctantly comes to his rescue. Secrets erupt, and everything they thought they knew about each other changes. Will the relentless revelations and danger bring them closer together? Or will their legendary hate turn them into (im)mortal enemies?
