Dear Tequila, Episode 1: R.I.P. Love

Dear Tequila: 

We’ve been best friends since that one trip to Cancun, where I woke up next to the hottest guy at school and a half-shaved head. You’ve been there for every break-up, job loss, and birthday. You’re never too busy, you never dump me for a new boyfriend, and you’re always right on time.  

But we need to talk. 

Because you’ve been letting me down lately. 

This year: 

• I’ve lost three pairs of underwear and..
• My boss’s black AmEx card (it was a bad morning, ok?) and…
• The right shoe for my only pair of Louboutins. I’m still clinging to the left one. (Shoe gods, if you can hear me..)
• An interview for my dream job
• And the last shreds of my dignity
• Also, how old is too young? Asking for a friend who’s afraid she committed a felony.

Dear Tequila, like that one movie said- I wish I could quit you.
